Casino Hold'em Poker™
The idea of the game is to be dealt a better two-card hand than that of the dealer, with options to make a side-bet on the value of the player's dealt hand (Set Bonus™
).

 

1    Ace ranks high except when dealt with a two (Lowest Straight).

2    Dealer wins on Duplicate hands.

3    Stand-off 'Push'- this occurs when both dealer and player have 'No Hand' and dealer wins one half-hand and player wins the other half-hand.


RULES

The two-card level ranking hands in descending order as follows:

First level ranked hands           Pair, e.g. 

Second level ranked hands     Straight (Two Adjacent Cards),  e.g.

Third level ranked hands         No Hand (Two Odd Cards), e.g.

Cards are ranked Ace high through King, Queen, Jack descending to two.

Ace ranks high except when dealt with a two (Lowest Straight).
 

Entry Bet:

1.   If the player's hand is at a higher level than the dealer's hand then the player wins 1 to 1.

2.   If the player's hand  is at a lower level than the dealer's hand then the player loses.

3.   If the player and dealer both have Straight or a pair, and both are the same level, then the higher ranking hand shall determine the winner.
If the player's hand is of a higher rank the player wins 1 to 1. If the dealer's hand is of a higher rank, or there is a tie, the bet loses.

4.   If both the player and dealer have No Hand (neither a Straight nor Pair) the individual card ranks shall be used to determine the winner.
The player's higher card shall be compared with the dealer's higher card. Likewise the player's lower card shall be compared to the dealer's lower card.

4a. If both of the player's cards are higher than the corresponding dealer's cards then the player's bet shall pay 1 to 1.
4b.
If one of the player's cards is greater than the corresponding dealer card, and the other player's card is lower than or equal to the corresponding dealer's card then the bet shall push.
4c.
If both the player's cards are lower than the corresponding dealer's cards then the bet shall lose.
4d. 
If one of the player's cards is lower than the corresponding dealer's card and the other card is equal to the corresponding dealer's card then the bet shall lose.
4e.
If there is a tie of both cards then the bet shall lose.

5.   If the player wins with a pair of tens or higher the player shall win 2 to 1.
 

Set Bonus™:

Set Bonus will be paid if the player is dealt a Set (Straight or Pair) as follows:

Pair of Tens to Pair of Aces:                 10:1

Pair of Eights or Nines:                          8:1

Pair of Twos to Pair of Sevens:               5:1

Straight (Two Adjacent Cards):               2:1
 


The Game / Placing the Bets / Dealing and Shuffling

Before any cards are dealt each Player will place a bet on the Entry-Bet Box subject to the House minimum and maximum.

In addition any Player may place a bet on the Side-Bet (Set Bonus) Box.

The Dealer will deal two cards one at a time to each Player and to himself.

The first card to each Player will be dealt face down. The second card will be dealt face up and placed underneath the Player's first (un-exposed) card.
Both cards will be pushed to the Player who may examine the cards.
Both of the Dealer's cards will be dealt face down.

Dealer will place Player's cards on the Hand High-lighter Line, a pair above the Line, Straight on the Line and no hand below the Line.


This invention can also be used for Internet entertainment and video slot machines.  It could also be stored on a disk and played on a computer or interactive television.
